This year's 15th flower fair Umag Floria ranks Umag among Croatian towns with the longest flower fair traditions. It is likewise singular for its location, only a couple of steps from the sea, lending it the unique charm of a seaside atmosphere. The exhilarating scent of flowers, the variety of natural colours and forms, completed with the azure waves will certainly make the Umag Floria a compellingly charming fair.

Flora Educa, the international high-school students florist competition, held under the watchful eye of their mentors, will complete this year's Umag flower fair with an educative tone of the younger generations.

Crofish

For our fishery, as a specific segment of the economy, to survive and flourish, fair manifestations like Crofish, held for the seventh time this year, are essential. Its sponsors, the Town of Umag and the Istrian County, are investing tremendous effort to present fishermen with everything they need for their work in one place. The Crofish fair is the only manifestation of the kind in Croatia and has been gathering fishermen from the entire Croatian coast, as well as visitors from continental Croatia and abroad somehow connected with fishing. Visitors of the fair will get an opportunity to buy and taste fresh fish and other sea delicacies, familiarize themselves with products required for engaging in fishing activities and novelties in the fishing vessel production.
